The Irish Geological Research Meeting is an all-Island annual event hosted by the geoscience departments in our research institutes, taking place late February-early March.
Every year many geological events are organised across the country in August for National Heritage Week.
Geological Survey Ireland team members will be on-site in September at the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment stand in Tullamore to answer your questions about your land and everything underneath it. We also perform demonstrations and explain geological models.
Our annual update in November from our flagship programme on seabed mapping.
We hold events throughout Ireland for Science Week in November each year.
