Geological Survey Ireland produces a wide range of datasets from bedrock to groundwater, marine, geological heritage, geotechnical, and more. These are organised by themes accessible on the left panel. Data can be downloaded from our departmental repository. They can be viewed in our online viewers. Metadata can be accessed along with web services. Goldmine is a repository of scanned documents in particular old maps and reports.
All files are projected to Irish National Grid / ING prior 2016 and in Irish Transverse Mercator / ITM from 2016 onwards. The Marine files are in WGS84.
