This year's Geological Survey Ireland episode on the RTÉ One science show 10 Things to Know About..... will be broadcast on Monday 22 November at 8:30 pm. Presenters Dr Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin, Kathriona Devereux and Jonathan McCrea investigate the impact of the changing climate on our coasts with Dr Silvia Caloca from Geological Mapping and Dr Kieran Craven from the CHERISH Project in the Marine and Coastal Unit in Gelogical Survey Ireland. 

The episode will also feature Prof. John Sweeney, Emeritas Professor at Maynooth University, and Dr Fergus McAuliffe looks at the January 1839 Night of the Big Wind in his Curious Chronicles segment in the show.
