Where We Are Operating

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Tellus involves two types of surveying – airborne geophysical surveying using a low-flying aircraft and ground-based geochemical surveying of soil, stream water and stream sediment.

The latest phase of the​ Tellus airborne survey will see the aircraft move into south central Ireland, across counties Laois, Tipperary, Kilkenny and neighbouring ​parts of Carlow, Kildare, Offaly, Cork and Waterford.​ The survey aircraft​ commenced flying in September 2020 and will continue into spring 2021.

The Tellus ground survey commenced soil sampling in mid-September 2020 and will continue into spring 2021, soil samplers are working across parts of counties Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Kilkenny, Offaly, Tipperary and Wexford.
