Where We Are Operating

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Tellus involves two types of surveying – airborne geophysical surveying using a low-flying aircraft and ground-based geochemical surveying of soil, stream water and stream sediment.

The latest phase of the​ Tellus airborne survey will see the aircraft move into south central Ireland, across counties Laois, Tipperary, Kilkenny and neighbouring ​parts of Carlow, Kildare, Offaly, Cork and Waterford.​ The survey aircraft​ is expected to commence flying in September 2020.

The Tellus ground survey is due to commence soil sampling from mid-September 2020 until the end of the year, samplers will work across parts of counties Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford.
