We are compiling bedrock point data, such as outcrop descriptions, borehole locations and logs, and structural measurements, with the existing rock unit mapping. Tellus geophysics and geochemistry are used to guide re-interpretation, supported by field visits and borehole drilling as required. A block of border counties, comprising 50k sheets 26, 27, 28, 34, and 35, was published online as a free download in October 2016 and referred to as the Northeastern Block
(more detailed information is available here). Unpublished data compilations for the ‘geourban’ areas around major cities are available on request.
We are currently working on a block of 4 x 50k sheets - 32, 33, 39, 40 - and this block will be available for download by the end of 2017.
