Geological Survey Ireland is proud to participate in this year's National Heritage Week, under the theme 'It's In Your Nature'.

We will be hosting a talk by Gerry Stanley entitled 'What have minerals ever done for me?' from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at our headquarters in Beggars Bush, Dublin on Thursday 24 August, followed by an open day on Friday 25 August from  11 am – 4:30 pm. All are welcome!

In addition, there are over 50 geological events happening throughout Ireland for Heritage Week – a number of which are organised by Geological Survey Ireland or our UNESCO Global Geopark partners. See calendar for more information.

We hope to see you there!
