The 67th Irish Geoscience Research Meeting will be held in the Arts Millennium Building, University of Galway, over the weekend of 1st–3rd March, 2024. The format will be similar to previous years, with guest speakers on the Friday and Saturday evenings, and general sessions over the weekend, finishing by 15.30 on Sunday.
Registration, as always, is free (via is a google docs form).

Professor John Walsh (UCD) The impact of geological structures on the terrain and coastline of the Aran Islands.

Conference meal
There will be a conference meal on the Saturday evening in the Galway Rowing Club. Cost will be of the order of €40-50. If you would like to attend the meal, please book this in addition to conference registration. Payment will be taken upon arrival at the Registration desk.
Lunch is not provided by IGRM, however there are multiple options within walking distance of the event venue.

Presentations and abstract submission
For those wishing to present at the meeting, please note that the deadline for submitting abstracts is the 9th February.
There are two main categories of presentation to choose from: 15-minute talks and posters. For those submitting posters, there is also the option to give a 3-minute 'flash' talk in the style of EGU's Pico presentations. Please indicate whether you wish to avail of this option.
Preference will be given to new speakers and/or significantly new research. Posters will be available to view throughout the meeting in spaces adjacent the lecture theatre.
