Lucy Cotton (Geoscience Ltd) will talk on" Drilling into the hot rocks at the Eden Project".  Opening remarks will be delivered by Koen Verbruggen (Director of Geological Survey Ireland).

Lucy Cotton from GeoScience Ltd was recently Lead Geologist during the drilling of EG-1 at the Eden Project. This is a monumental project for not only Cornwall but the entire Geothermal industry. The COP 26 President, Alok Sharma, visited the site last year and said, "Eden is a fantastic example of being able to grow our economy through skilled jobs while cutting our emissions. I look forward to seeing this pioneering project moving full steam ahead."
