Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT) are hosting a webinar presented by Geological Survey Ireland's Dr Siobhán Power. This online event will explore engaging junior cycle students in local geology and how to encourage them to make the connection between geology, the surrounding landscape and human development. This event will be part of JCT's Festival of Professional Learning and will take place online on Monday 27th of March online at 6:30pm. The webinar will be aimed towards junior cycle Geography teachers.

​Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT) is a dedicated continuing professional development (CPD) support service of the Department of Education. Our aim is to support schools in their implementation of the new Framework for Junior Cycle (2015) through the provision of appropriate high quality CPD for school leaders and teachers, and the provision of effective teaching and learning resources.
