​The Geotechnical Society of Ireland, as a part of Engineers Ireland, is pleased to announce a free half day seminar as part of the Biannual Eamon Hanrahan lecture.


Description

The event aims to bring together geotechnical engineers and other specialist subject matter experts to share and discuss their experience and knowledge pertaining to the field of geotechnics.

The Biannual lecture is held in honour of Irish engineer Prof. Eamon Hanrahan.  Eamon Hanrahan enjoyed a long and productive lifespan of 95 years, during which he made an important contribution to the development of geotechnical engineering education and practice in Ireland.

Originally scheduled for April 2020, the 3rd Hanrahan lecture is focused on how geotechnical design in Ireland and Europe has advanced with Eurocode 7.
