​The next lecture of the Cork Geological Association will be on Wednesday November 24th at 8pm via Zoom.  Prof. Michael Benton, will speak on 'Dinosaurs: New Visions of a Lost World'.

This event will be run jointly with UCC School of BEES as the Annual Ted Nevill Lecture.

Prof. Mike Benton is Professor of Vertebrate Palaeontology at the University of Bristol, UK. He is a world-leader in the study of Dinosaur fossils and has informed our modern understanding of their life and times. If you want to impress any young people in your life with your knowledge of Dinosaurs, this is the lecture to be at! His new book of the same title was just published, in October 2021.
