Each walking guide package consists of a series of laminated cards, ten of which give details of individual walks with the remaining three or four providing general geological, tourism and leisure information. The route of each walk is outlined on 1:50,000 Ordnance Survey maps, with letters and numbers referring to route and feature information within the text.

The Walk series is produced under the “Landscapes from Stone” brand by the Geological Survey of Ireland and the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland, with support from the International Fund for Ireland & the EU Peace & Reconciliation Funds
