The Geological Survey of Ireland has a range of digital data available, free of charge.

IWDDS
Gridded xyz data, ESRI GIS shapefiles, Geotiffs, reports and metadata are available to view, clip and export from the Interactive Web Data Delivery System.

GIS Data is available to download in pre-zipped folders from the Department of Commnications, Energy and Natural Resources's spatial data download page. The data is in the format of ESRI GIS shapefiles.
