Collaborative Projects
The Minerals Programme collaborates with industry, third level educational institutions and other geoscience agencies in carrying out commissioned research into topics of mutual interest. Any of the research collaborators may operate either in Ireland or abroad. Research staff would normally be recruited on a contract basis for each project. It is the policy of the GSI to publish the results of research as soon as practicable and within the constraints of the research contract. Several current or recent projects are described below.
