New GSI staff member
The Geological Survey of Ireland (GSI), Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, is happy to announce the appointment of Russell Rogers as a Geologist, as a result of a recent open competition.
Russell graduated from the University of Leicester with a degree in Geology, and followed with a MSc in Mineral Exploration from the Universite du Qubec, INRS. Russell has worked in mineral exploration consultancy both within Ireland and internationally since 2011, on projects involving a variety of geological settings and techniques.
The GSI is delighted to welcome Russell into the Land-Mapping Programme and is looking forward to incorporating his skills and experience into existing and future cross-sectional projects.
