Latest News on Geoscience 2012 Conference
GSI is planning the Geoscience 2012 Conference 18th - 19th April 2012. The first day, 18th April, will be a one-day conference organised by the Geological Survey of Ireland, Geological Survey of Northern Ireland and the Royal Irish Academy “A Safe City; The Contribution of Geoscience in the Urban Environment” .  
Day 2 , 19th April "From Research to Jobs" includes the Tellus Border Annual Technical Seminar and GSI and Geoscience Initiatives.
The general themes are water (both surface and groundwater) and hazards in the urban environment from the perspective of the public sector and industry. Check here for more details
