Ireland in the shadow of a volcano
Volcanoes have always played an important role in the lives of people who live near them. However to us in Ireland volcanoes have been largely a curiosity. UCD Earth Sciences Institute with TCD TrinityHaus are holding a Seminar  Ireland in the shadow of a volcano - Understanding the 2010 eruption at Eyjafjallajokull, Iceland with Professor Christopher Bean, UCD School of Geological Sciences. The Seminar will be held in O'Callaghan Mont Clare Hotel, Merrion Square, Dublin 2 on Friday 4th June from 12:30 - 14:00.
