Avoca Meeting
A second public meeting will take place on Tuesday 8th of April 2008 where you will have an opportunity to contribute to the proposed Action Plan for the Management and Remediation of the Avoca Mining Area.

The Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Eamon Ryan TD, has commissioned an integrated study to investigate how best to remediate and manage the Avoca mining areas.

A public meeting will take place on Tuesday 8th April 2008 where you will have an opportunity to hear the progress made in developing a proposed Action Plan for the Management and Remediation of the Avoca Mining Area. Feedback on the work to date will be welcome at the meeting.

The meeting will be attended by representatives from the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources and CDM, the consultants carrying out the study.
