Griffith Geoscience Research Awards Announcement

On the evening of 5th July 2007 Eamon Ryan, T.D., announced the winners of the Griffith Geoscience Research Awards at a reception in GSI offices.

The announcent was well attended by the geoscience community in Ireland, both academic and industry, as more than 70 watched the Minister make formal presentations to representatives of the winning research institutes.  Pictured here are left to right Dr. Peadar McArdle, Director GSI, Barry McSweeney, Research Advisor, DCENR and Minister Ryan.  Additonal photos of the presentations will be uploaded here on 24th July.
