This will be a gentle walk along the Slaney when you can hear about Carlow’s volcanic past and the forces that shaped it.
Bring suitable footwear and warm waterproof clothes

Meet at 2.30 pm at Kilcarry Bridge, Clonegal, County Carlow. Kilcarry Bridge is about 2km off the N80, Enniscorthy – Carlow, road and can be reached from it by turning eastwards off it 3km north of Kildavin. The turning is signposted “Clonegal 5km” Car parking will be available: please follow instructions on arrival.
