 Cliffs of Moher, Co. Clare Taken 9th Sept 2015 at the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs consist mainly of beds of Namurian, shale and sandstone and reach a height of 214 meters.

 Polticoghlan Cave, Co. Leitrim

Polticoghlan cave - Sliabh an Ianainn - Drumshambo, Co. Leitrim - 08/08/’15. Captured in the image above is an enormous chamber formed by the erosion of the limestone as the water cascades its way down through the layers of rock into the cave.

The chamber is in complete darkness and was illuminated using a combination of four different off-camera strobe flashes as well as a flash bulb.

Old Desmond Cave, Mitchelstown, County Tipperary. Taken 14/03/2015.

Adjacent to the famous Mitchelstown Caves is Old Desmond. This photos shows the main 'entrance' an abandoned phreatic tube formed originally in subaquatic conditions. Huge scalloped erosion marks from an ancient river decorate the impressive passage.
